The Monkey Farm started as an acoustic 3-piece set in the fall of 2001. Kenny Kline on vocals, Joe Kline on Guitar and Steve Strother II on drums. It wasnt long after recording some foundation songs, the 3 agreed that it was time to add a bass player and play these songs live.
First up, Kevin George who brought along an old friend Mike Rush. While Kevin attempted to learn the TMF so...ngs, the real attention shifted to Mike and his scratching records along with the band at practice. It was soon after that, the band decided that Kevin wasnt going to make the cut but Mike had made himself a member. The search continued...in steps Chris Sivert. Chris took to the helm rather nicely. Not only did he learn the songs in a speedy fashion, he was also a hell of a contributing force. It wasnt long after, the band was playing live in the Ohio Valley.See More
