About Nomad Soul:
Nomad Soul has been around for about 8 years.They are a classic rock and blues cover band. Shannon and Brian Paul are the original members of the band. Pat Kostalnik and Dave Griffiths both on guitar joined the band after they had him fill in a few gigs. Jim Gove on drums and is the name sake and drummer in Shannon's other band "My Cousin Jim" Shannon has been singing all her life. She broke out into the band scene doing jam nights and was picked up by Colin Dussaults Blues Project in 1996. She played with them for about a year until a band called 3rd time lucky picked her up as a lead singer. She was with that band for 3 years until Brian and her decided to branch off into a more modern band called Vastaray. Vastaray also played out for 3 years, until their guitar player went to original heavy metal music. So .....Nomad Soul was born, with many changing members until we got the mix right. Brian has been playing bass for 14 years. He is also Nomad Soul's sound and light tech. He loves being in a band with his wife, and loves to be a big goof on stage. Cant miss this 6'6" bass player!!!!! Pat Kostalnik has been involved in music FOEREVER!!!! He is the lead guitar player for local band Yellow Delicious and was nice enough to join Nomad Soul when he isn't gigging with Yellow Delicious! Pat and Shannon's vocal harmonies are awesome!!!! He brings a great edge to Nomad Soul. Jim Gove just moved up from Findlay, Ohio. He was the drummer of a band called Foreplay. Nomad Soul picked him up as soon as he moved to Avon, and he is fitting in perfectly. Jim has played drums most of his life and is a perfect asset to Nomad Soul. Dave Griffiths has sat in with us off and on for over a year. We decided it would be in the bands best interest to hire him full time! Dave is also a guitar player in the band Mosquito and the owner of Westgate Music!
