About Mongo Huey:
We're lookin' for people that have a NEED to party! People like you! If you hate fun, hate drinkin', hate having your ears ring for 2 days after a show, or hate seeing boobies...maybe we aren't the band for you.
HOWEVER...we think we ARE the band for you....come see what YOU think.We've been at this for a good while, originally formed in '96 mongo Huey has made it's rounds thru the east coast, and part of the midwest. We're all about the live shows....and the energy that comes from, and into them. We pride ourselves on our live show, and live sound. If you haven't partaken in the Mongo experience, you really should.
In 2001 we released our first CD "Rise", and sold over 5,000 copies of it, here in the Ohio Valley. Currently we are working on our second project, as yet untitled. We hope to have it finished, and released before Winter gets here. We'll see how it goes. Until then, I guess we'll keep our heads down, and keep swingin' for the fences.
