About East Run:
From the honky tonks to the wedding reception they can play it. Jeff Powell has played with many notable bands including the Neon Cactus Band. Jeff has written many of East Run's original tunes and can play a mean harmonica. "Lonesome" David Swallop is a talented player of the fiddle, guitar, piano and many other instruments. He plays a 1952 Kay bass that has many names, all seem to fit. Wayne Woods is originally from Taylor county, West Virginia and got started in music playing bluegrass with his father. Wayne sing lead vocal on many tunes and is currently playing a Frank Neat Banjo. Chris Rossi is a talented mandolin player from Greensburg Pennsylvania. Chris is a disciplined player with a style drawing from New Grass, Swing and Southern Rock. The band has performed at many venues and events including the North Bend Bluegrass Festival, Jerry Run Theater, Upper West Fork Fireman's Bluegrass Festival, Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Nutter Fort Blackberry Festival, Salem Apple Butter Festival, The Purple fiddle and The Bourbon and Bluegrass Festival in Franklin Kentucky.
