I started out as a child, listening to music at church, records at home. Began piano lessons at age 7 that continued through grade school. Picked up flute and saxophone in high school and then off to Duquesne University where I earned a B.S. in music education. I was a flute major, a piano minor and played saxophone in one of the jazz ensembles.
